Silicone defoamer use introduction

Silicone is used as a spray-dyeing defoamer, which has been reported in many literatures. The old dyeing process, the general application of dimethyl polysiloxane defoamer, can achieve satisfactory defoamer effect, and ensure uniform dyeing. However, the new dyeing process uses high temperature and high pressure machinery. In this machinery, the dye is moved by the jet of the dye solution and is dyed at the same time. Although the resulting foam can be defoamed by ordinary silicone defoaming agent, but under high temperature and high pressure, the general silicone defoaming agent will produce film-like precipitation and make the stained material produce spots. The use of block copolymers can overcome the above disadvantages, since these defoamer components are soluble in cold water and insoluble in hot water, and therefore can play a defoaming role. However, the defoaming effect of this copolymer defoaming agent alone is not satisfactory, and if a certain amount of atomized SiO2 is added to the copolymer, a satisfactory defoaming effect can be achieved and a uniformly dyed fabric can be produced. Used for defoaming in high temperature dyeing process and fermentation process of polyester fabric. In addition, it can also be used for defoaming of diethanolamine desulfurization system and defoaming of various oil agents, cutting fluids, non-freezing fluids, water-based inks and other systems. It is also suitable for defoaming of uncured resin after photosensitive resin plate making in the printing industry.
